Jude: I meant it as a compliment.

Jude: That’s one amazing cat.
Elsa: In contrast to Izzy’s self-proclaimed status as an “ally cat,” this fine feline is off the charts cool.
Izzy: Can’t you be both “cool” and “a promiscuous ally cat” at the same time?
Elsa: Umm…
Izzy: Or maybe the REAL question is can you be cool if you aren’t a promiscuous alley cat?
Elsa: So, I adore that this lovely kitty chose a good solid neutral shirt to create a canvas for all the eye-catching colors.
Izzy: I loves me the glasses.
Jude: Plus with a puffer vest — if the cat falls in the water… flotation device!
Izzy: Very practical.
Elsa: The colors are such extreme opposites that they really contrast so beautifully.
Izzy: I like the “OFF” part on the cat’s shirt too. I can think of so many instances where this could be handy. Wear this shirt and carry some sticky notes…. You could customize your shirt with things like, “Get Off” or other such things…
Elsa: So, here we have black, white and a pop of yellow and even a pop of metallic to make it even more special!
Jude: Plus! It appears that the life jacket is reversible, which makes it even more practical!!

Elsa: I love the dark shades with the pops of colors on the bandana. The contrasts today are stunning.
Izzy: And the practical uses for the outfits are amazing too!
Elsa: Yes, the sunglasses are chic and practical.
Izzy: I was referring to the bandana.
Elsa: Yes, also a stunning print and perfect for many uses.
Izzy: Such as an emergency mask…
Elsa: How did I know you were going to fit in a plug for your new book?

Izzy: If this fashionable friend was out and about and suddenly realized, “I don’t have my mask! And I read Izzy’s book and she told me that I had to wear a mask to go to the grocery store and YET I don’t have one.. whatever will I do???”
Elsa: That’s a lot of internal dialogue that you’re making-up there.

Izzy: I have a mask fashion tip for you, Elsa. Duct tape. Duct tape right across your mouth is also a great and fashionable alternative to the traditional mask. Let’s try it on you now.
Jude: I’ll get the tape.
Elsa: So funny. Besides if you tape my mouth shut I won’t be able to talk about the lovely dark denim or the thick silver chain.
Izzy: I think I can live with that.

Elsa: Another look that has a great black background and pops of colors!
Izzy: And that leash, that would make a great emergency belt!
Elsa: Just how many belt emergencies have you had?
Izzy: You never know when your pants might fall down.
Jude: Another functional fashion.
Elsa: Just as it was with our previous two looks, I’m pretty sure that this is an example of fashion for fashion’s sake and not necessarily meant to be versatile in its functionality.
Izzy: But it is!!
Elsa: And it also IS stunning. The floral pattern against the black background is so special. Matching it with that yellow top is really divine.
Izzy: You weren’t quite pretentious enough today, so I’m glad you threw in the word “divine.”
Jude: Oh, she is pretentious enough…. Trust me — I live with her!

Elsa: Okay, Izzy… let’s stay on theme here. How exactly can this final look function in some practical way? Is it a back-up life jacket or mask? Or perhaps an emergency belt!!
Izzy: Not everything has to have another function, Elsa.
Elsa: Oh, is that so…
Izzy: Although, this could double as a great clown costume.
Elsa: And there it is…
Izzy: But for reals…
Jude: I’m not arguing… This is totally a clown costume.
Elsa: It kinda is…
Jude: The bright colors are kind of nice.
Elsa: Bright colors are great when done tastefully. Like in our previous looks. There were bright colors in all of our looks today, but they were all tastefully balanced with a neutral color and a solid background.
Izzy: But the practical side of this is that you just never know when you might want to dress like a clown and with this outfit, no worries…
Elsa: In that one, very specific instance, this would be a good choice.
Izzy: See, I’m right again.
