Izzy: No snarky comment? No corrections? No passive-aggressive slams?
Elsa: Izzy, I do believe that in a civilized society, we should all try to govern our own behaviors with the utmost of politeness and compassion.
Izzy: So, what you are saying is that I can say anything I want to you today, and you will respond in a polite and sophisticated way?
Elsa: Don’t I always?
Izzy: You do not.
Elsa: I do believe that most of our “bantering” is a result of you throwing insults and me dodging them.
Izzy: With a butt that big, it’s amazing you can dodge anything.
Elsa: While I could point-out the fact that my derrière is indeed, equal in size to yours, I will politely smile and tell you that I forgive you.

Elsa: What a lovely houndstooth outfit!
Izzy: Should we be offended by the term “houndstooth”?
Elsa: I’m not sure why we would be???
Izzy: Just checking. You’re kind of a Karen sometimes….

Izzy: This is fun.
Elsa: Anyway, I adore the attention to detail in this outfit. I love the solid black in the center of the bow, the trim and the black buttons. I love the belt loops and the tie in the back.
Izzy: So you’re saying you love this outfit?
Elsa: I think it’s adorable!
Izzy: And it’s not even pink.

Izzy: Well, there’s a hottie in a fedora.
Elsa: And a bow tie! I think there is something extra-special and amazing about a man in a bow tie.
Izzy: Or you know, men in general.
Elsa: I do believe that I am a tad bit more particular when choosing my dates.
Izzy: I don’t think you’re being very polite now. Besides… it’s pretty easy to be “particular” when you only get asked out once a year……
Elsa: Again, I would like to… politely.. inform you that I have plenty of male suitors.
Izzy: Okay.
Elsa: Back to the fashion… This outfit makes me happy. I love the checks in the shirt and how it is mimicked in the tie. I love that the tie and hat match and the fact that the shirt adds that pop of color.
Izzy: I like the outfit, but I love the man.

Elsa: Not to be picky, but “ain’t” isn’t a word.
Izzy: That was not terribly polite of you.
Elsa: But I do agree with you, this look and this man are both fabulous. And he’s such a proper gentleman.
Izzy: I bet I could loosen him up.
Elsa: I love the whole outfit… the houndstooth…
Izzy: Again, not offended, right, Karen?
Elsa: You’re just trying to start something with me. But I am way too smart and sophisticated to fall for your boarish attempts.
Izzy: YES!! There it is… You called me “boarish.” So, apparently you aren’t too smart or sophisticated afterall….
Elsa: Boarish is kind of a sophisticated word, isn’t it?
Izzy: That sophisticated thing was getting old.
Elsa: I do love this outfit though. The pins and the buttons really elevate the look….

Elsa: I love the greys in these outfits. It’s such a sophisticated and masculine color.
Izzy: They’re both amazing eye candy for sure!

Izzy: This is a straight-up a tie for me. They both look spectacular.
Elsa: I would agree.I can’t give either one a vote over the other because they are both amazing. I do think that our canine friend’s tie is fabulous though, so that might give him a little bit of an edge.
Izzy: That was still quite polite.
